I managed to buy lots of these of ebay. Im sooooo enjoying trying something new.

I used Craftwork cards papers inked around the edges with Dusty Concorde to match my daughters bedroom,

Lots of ribbon & gems from my stash little heart charm, the love hearts were wooden i inked them first then stickled them, and some Craftwork card candy also stickled.

As some of you know im out of sorts with card making and have been for too many months now.

So i have had this mdf letter in my craft stash for almost 2 years now so thought i'd have a play.

I covered it with Craftwork cards paper added lots of ribbon, a charm and some wood lovehearts painted with crakle paint and glitter.

I am very pleased with how it turned out, it look so much nicer in real life. Just ordered some more of these from ebay so hope they come quickly.

Loved making this card, the tim holtz die cut was distressed with his inks, i distressed around the paper edge with crackle paint. The time is done in stickers the to are rub ons and the celebrate was stamped then cut out and distressed. As some of you are aware i have not felt like crafting for a lonnnnng time, but recently i tried a new approach, i moved away from character images and got out the distress inks.. so this weeks challenge at penny black was right up my street. This is my all time favorite Penny Black stamp, the shaped card is from Craftwork cards i stamped randomly on the card them distressed round the edges.

I have lots more cards made in this new (to me) craft style when i am feeling braver i will share them ...

The buttons and blooms are fine but i dont do bows purely cause i can not make them look right no matter how i try... so i had to use a ready made one. The fabulous image is one of a set i bought about three month ago and have only just used (tut tut) i coloured her with promarkers. The papers are My minds eye, flowers, gems and button from my stash and the little cupcake (so cute) is part of a set from my local craft shop.

Well nearly three months without crafting, but this long weeked i decided to give it a go and hey presto i came up with some cards (Hurrah).

This one is for my niece who's birthday is today so a bit of a rush job to get it finished.

I am entering this card into All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge they want us to create something

"marvelously Magnolia"

I bought this set of Magnolia stamps ages ago when they first came out but this is the first time i have even inked them up. Image coloured with distress inks. The papers are My Minds Eye i also bought these ages ago but only just used them.

The sentiment stamp is from Lily of the Valley, i've been after this stamp for ages and managed to get it at Harrogate earlier in the year. I even felt upto a little decoration inside the card, and made a little pocket for some money.

Whiff of Joy This challenge have a fabulous sketch to follow and i will defiantly use this sketch again.

I made this for my daughter, all she asked for was a purple card so not much to go on there.

The image is Willow writing recipes from Whiff of joy of course and coloured with distress inks. She suits my daughter to the ground, she is always in the kitchen baking cookies, muffins jam tarts and more recently big big fancy cupcakes yum .....

I decided to make another easel card and box for christmas just love making these cards, just find then a tad difficult to get a good photo....

Just magnolia monthly challenge

This Friday at Just Magnolia is there special monthly challenge of "Anything Goes" with the added option of using beads.

This was a commissioned card i made last week for a friend attending a wedding.

I was asked for a traditional card, Cream & Merlot as a colour scheme with lace and peals, i wanted to make an easel card as i think they are a little more special, I used a gorgeous image from Magnolia wedding collection, lightly coloured with distress inks. The love stamp is also Magnolia and cut with a nestie then inked around the edges with distress ink. The paper is from Magnolia the flowers pears beads and lace are from a selection of my stash.

I made a matching box from a template found Here from the amazing Maddie.

Strawberry's & Cream

Here's what i came up with.

The most gorgeous Sarah Kay image coloured with distress inks, the papers are from (not sure as a cut the bit at the bottom off that tells you lol) i have used my Martha Stewart punch to create the border and the edge of the image. The flowers are all from the glitterpot with buttons and gems from my stash...

For this week i have made a kick stand card using a beautiful Sugar Nellie stamp, coloured with pro-markers.

This week at allsorts it's Debs turn to choose a theme and she choose

No D.P's that is no ready made design papers.

So for this card i used a Magnolia background stamp (love letters) and stamped it about four times, i then used some distressing inks puple & blue to colour the paper.

Magnolia stamp coloured with promarkers, the flower is a retro punch two different sizes, with some text stamped on the smaller one. Tags and gems from my stash. Thanks for looking...x

I've had these chipboard letters a while now so thought i would have a play with them.

Just plain white chipboard letters.

A little of Tim's distressing inks, promarkers and glitter.

And the finished project.

I have used one of the new whiff of joy City Girls stamp this one is my favorite coloured with the usual pro markers, the one paper is Honey pie Avery from Cosmo Cricket. Whiff of joy this week have two recipe's, and you can choose which one you follow..

i chose 3 patterned papers 2 bling and 1 flower, this was harder than i thought only using 1 flower and 2 bling...x

The image has been coloured with promarkers but im not very impressed, i used a different card to stamp my image and the card does not allow for very good shading... if any one knows of a good paper/card for colouring with promarkers can you please let me know, the papers are all cosmo cricket with flower and gems from my stash thanks for looking...x

Yeah i have finally got round to joining in a challenge this card is for A spoon full of sugar where they would like to see CHRISTMAS. Also the Craft garden has started a new blog and she would like to see lowers. Well Christmas cards is all I've been making lately so this was easy for me.

I used the gorgeous charlotte stamp from whiff of joy coloured with promakers and cut using a martha stewart punch. The papers are double sided from Kaisercraft called Winter wonderland, flowers and leaves are from my stash, the little charm is also from my stash and the bell is of my cats collar lol (never throw anything away)finised with some diamon dust for a little sparkle.

SNOWFLAKES IN SEPTEMBER

This week is my challenge week and i would like to see 'SNOWFLAKES' i adore snowflakes and also think this would be a great excuse to make some early christmas cards.

The prize on offer this week is a guest D.T Spot for the whole of October.

The papers i have used are from DCWV The christmas glitter stack 12x12 they were a bargain on sale at hoobycraft... they are all so yummy and spakly.
